We loved the comfy bed and the location was solid, heaps of street food nearby. But the breakfast was a bit scarce if you fancy European options. Chur!

Incredible, particularly good location in Hoan Kiem district just next door to good shopping streets, the lake and night market, and the significant monuments. Family atmosphere and family room with free wifi.

The location is perfect, close to great restaurants and cafes. The noise from the street at night can be disruptive.

The room was clean and nice. The hotel staff (actually the family) are very kind and friendly. The breakfast is not so much but we can select and have breakfast with good taste. We had a nice stay here. If we will visit Hanoi again, we would select this hotel again. The hotel doesn't look to the main road, so the road sound was less. Around the hotel are many local restraunts and easy to get vietunamese nice food. From the hotel you can easily walk to the old urban distrit or Hanoi station.
If we use the Hot water for bath/shower long, the temperature goes down to be normal water. The discriptions about the room facilities and hotel facilities are mixed and not correct. For ex. there was no "Safety Deposit Box" in the room.

The location was magnificent and perfect, for example, a famous prison was within a close distance from the hotel. Greatly enjoyed the room with breakfast included, my bed was comfy...

The overall value for money was excellent.
This resulted in unexpected power outages, cutting off our electric and internet while we were out. The noise from outside was a significant concern, as it kept us awake until the early morning hours.

The location is excellent with places to eat on the doorstep and the main sights of Hanoi within easy walking distance. The owners and their family do everything possible to make your stay comfortable, homely and enjoyable. They are happy to organise anything that you need (trips, taxis, laundry etc) and nothing is too much trouble. The room was very quiet, well furnished, exceptionally clean and very comfortable. It really was a perfect place to stay.

Surprisingly spacious and silent room with scenic views, central heating, multi-channel TV, and a mini-fridge-bar. Plenty of options, great food. Great location to the hills of Sapa, in the fairly quiet area.
Beds were too firm.

No-frills basic accommodation, friendly & helpful staff, simple but comfortable rooms, efficient checking-in, welcome drink of your choice (i.e no sickly sweet juice, instead, cold beer).
promises of wifi in every room when actually connection could only be got in the lobby, a little noisy downstairs from street and discussions between staff

The family-operated atmosphere was very welcoming
They were very keen to have me buy a particular Halong Bay tour, even after I said I was looking for something different. when they found out that I had bought the Halong tour I requested elsewhere, their mood seemed to change.

I had an very nice stay! The breakfast spread was great, offering both local and international options. The air conditioning worked wonders, and the cleanliness was unmatched. The noise from the streets could get distracting at times, but I'd definitely stay here again!

I liked the location and the breakfast.
The level of English was low, and it made communication difficult. Also, the area was difficult for cab drivers to find.
